The Nigerian bourse closed the trading activities for today (Friday) on a bullish note, extending the gaining momentum to three trading sessions. The positive performance was due to investors’ interest in blue-chip stocks like DANGCEM, MTNN, and 20 others. Consequently, the market indicators (NGX-ASI and market capitalization) surged by 0.46%. Furthermore, the market breadth closed positively recording 22 gainers against 10 losers.

In summary, the All-Share Index (ASI) grew by 177.86 absolute points, representing an increase of 0.46% to close at 38,726.10 points. Similarly, the overall Market Capitalization value gained N92.71 billion, representing an increase of 0.46% to close at N20.18 trillion.

MORRISON emerged as the top gainer (by percentage points) for today, with a maximum price appreciation of +9.71%, while CWG emerged as the top loser (by percentage points) with a maximum price depreciation of -9.47%.
