Transactions on the Local Bourse today (Monday) closed on a negative note, as the NGX-ASI and Market Capitalization dipped by 0.10%, following investors’ sentiment on the Banking sector, Insurance sector, and the Consumers good sector. However, the market breadth closed at par, recording 19 losers and 19 gainers.

In summary, the All-Share Index (ASI) dropped by 37.45 absolute points, representing a decline of 0.10%, to close at 38,906.42 points. Similarly, the overall Market Capitalization value dipped by N19.5 billion, representing a decrease of 0.10% to close at N20.27 trillion.

CHIPLC emerged as the top gainer (by percentage points) for today, with a price appreciation of 9.62% while SCOA emerged as the top loser (by percentage points) with a price depreciation of -9.43%.
