SOVRENINS emerged the top gainer while BETAGLAS emerged the top loser.
The uptrend was impacted by gains recorded in medium and large capitalized stocks, amongst which are; HONYFLOUR (+9.57%), DANGCEM (+4.44%), FCMB (+3.37%), UBA (+2.05%), DANGFLOUR (+1.59%), DIAMONDBANK (+1.44%), and FLOURMILL (+0.78%).

The Investors and Exporters (I&E) FX window opened at N363.77, traded high at N365.70 and eventually closed at N363.05, representing a 0.15% appreciation against yesterday’s closing price. A total of $259.02 million was transacted through the I&E window today.
Overnight(O/N) rate closed at 19.75%, representing a 4.42% depreciation against yesterday’s closing position, while Open Buy-Back (OBB) rate also closed at 18.17% representing a 3.50% depreciation against yesterday’s closing position.
