Transactions on the Nigeria equity market today (Tuesday) closed in the southwards position with a dip of 0.36%, extending the previous day negative sentiment, following sell pressure on some bellwether stocks like MTNN, ZENITHBANK, ACCESS and 14 other. Consequently, the market breadth closed on a negative note, recording 15 losers as against 8 gainers.

In summary, the All-Share Index (ASI) decreased by 86.01 absolute points, representing a dip of 0.36% to close at 24,114.59 points. Similarly, the overall Market Capitalization size shed N44.87 billion, representing a decrease of 0.36% to close at N12.58 trillion.
UNILEVER emerged as the top gainer while ARBICO emerged as the top loser.
