Nigeria bourse returns north after two days of profit-taking
The Nigerian stock market on Thursday rebound from a two days losing streak with a gain of 0.45%. The growth was impacted by gains on DANGCEM, BUACEMENT, ACCESS and 11 others. However, the market breadth closed at par, recording 14 gainers against 14 losers.

In summary, the All-Share Index (ASI) increased by 133.08 absolute points, representing a growth of 0.45% to close at 29,597.29 points, Similarly, the overall Market Capitalization size increased by N68.55 billion, representing a growth of 0.45% to close at N15.24 trillion.
CAP emerged as the top gainer while LINKASSURE emerged as top loser.
The upturn was impacted by gains recorded in large and medium capitalized stocks, amongst which are; CAP (+10.00%), FIDELITYBK (+4.55%), OANDO (+4.32%), ACCESS (+2.48%), WAPCO (+2.38%), SEPLAT (+2.04%) and DANGCEM (+1.22%).

The Naira at the official window on Thursday closed unchanged at 306.95/$1, against yesterday’s position.
The Investors and Exporters (I&E) FX window opened at N361.69, traded high at N363.50 and eventually closed at N362.51, representing a 0.10% appreciation as against yesterday’s closing position. A total of $70.17 million was transacted through the I&E window today.
Overnight(O/N) rate closed at 3.57%, representing 0.71% appreciation against yesterday’s closing position, while Open Buy-Back (OBB) rate closed at 2.93%, representing 0.79% appreciation against yesterday’s position.

NASD OTC MARKET
The NASD OTC market on Thursday closed on a positive sentiment as the Unlisted Securities Index (USI) close at 706.52, representing a 0.55% growth against yesterday’s closing positiion. Similarly, Market Capitalization gained N2.75 billion to closed at N507.59 billion as against yesterday’s position. However, the aggregate volume and value decreased by 62.08% and 96.85% respectively, as investors traded a total of 106,810 volume of shares valued at N1.21 million in 6 deals.
