Nigeria bourse inch lower, post 0.08% loss
Transactions on the Nigerian bourse closed negative by extending the downtrend to four consecutive trading sessions, amid sell pressure on Banking and Consumer goods sector. Consequently, the market breadth closed negative, recording 12 gainers against 13 losers.

WAPIC & UAC-PROP emerged as the top gainers while LAWUNION emerged as top loser.

Overnight(O/N) rate closed at 4.17%, representing a 0.67% appreciation against yesterday’s closing position, while Open Buy-Back (OBB) rate closed at 3.42%, representing 0.50% appreciation against yesterday’s position.
