The downturn was as a result of sell-off sentiments in all major sectors, except the consumer goods sector. Moreso, the market breadth closed negatively, recording 20 losers as against 13 gainers.

MULTIVERSE emerged as the top gainer (by percentage points) with a price appreciation of +10.00%, while LASACO emerged as the top loser (by percentage points) for today, with a price depreciation of -9.40%.
