Local Bourse Keeps Positive Posture, Rallied for the 7th Successive Sessions
The domestic bourse today (Tuesday) continued its recent bullish trend with a gain of 1.20% in the ASI and Market Capitalization Value, as investors maintained a positive posture on DANGCEM, ETERNA, and 13 Others to extend the gaining streak to the seventh successive sessions.

In summary, the All-Share Index (ASI) gained 450.21 absolute points, representing a gain of 1.20% to close at 37,893.61 points. Similarly, the overall Market Capitalization value also appreciated by N235.30 billion, representing a growth of 1.20% to close at N19.805 trillion.
ETERNA emerged top of the gainers’ chart (in terms of percentage gain) with a maximum price appreciation of +10.00%, while CHIPLC emerged top of the losers’ chart with a maximum price depreciation of -10.00%.
Today’s uptrend was also driven by price appreciation in medium and large capitalized stocks amongst which are; JAPAULGOLD (+8.11%), DANGCEM (+6.34%), CADBURY (+4.05), UBA (+2.44%) ACCESS (+1.18%), TRANSCORP (+1.09%), ZENITHBANK (+0.82%), FCMB (+0.67%), and GUINNESS (+0.52%).
