Domestic market closed transactions for today (Friday) on a positive sentiment to wrap up the week. NGX-ASI  advances by 0.17% as investors’ buy interest in the financial and (oil and gas) sectors. Furthermore, the market breadth closed positively, recording 25 gainers as against 13 losers.

In summary, the All-Share Index (ASI) grew by 70.67 absolute points, representing a rise of 0.17%, to close at 42,014.50 points. Similarly, the overall Market Capitalization value increased by N36.88 billion, representing a rise of 0.17% to close at N21.93 trillion. 

WEMABANK emerged as the top gainer (by percentage points) with a price appreciation of +10.00%, while UNILEVER emerged as the top loser (by percentage points) for today, with a price depreciation of -6.32%.
