Heavy decline in Insurance sector drives NSE ASI to 0.24% loss

The downturn was impacted by loses recorded in medium and large capitalized stocks, amongst which are; STANBIC (-4.06%), ACCESS (-3.23%), NB (2.66%), HONYFLOUR (-1.82%), DANGCEM (-1.02%) and MOBIL (-0.11%).

Overnight (O/N) rate closed at 7.67%, representing a 9.69% depreciation against Friday’s closing position, while Open Buy-Back (OBB) rate also closed at 6.67% representing a 9.90% depreciation against Friday’s closing position.
