Equity market sheds 0.99% on Friday
The Nigerian equity market shed additional points to close Friday in the red. Notably, the market reacted to both end-of-month account balancing by portfolio managers and political concerns around the globe all through the week.
At the close of Friday, the NSE-ASI shed 292.39 absolute points, representing 0.99% decline to close at 29,305.40 points. Similarly, the Market Capitalization shed N100.42 billion, representing 0.99% decline to close at N10.06 trillion.
Week-on-week, the NSE-ASI shed 1,344.26 absolute points, representing a decline of 4.39%.
