The equity market today defy the tensed atmosphere in the aftermath of last Saturday’s presidential election as it gained 0.57%. All sectors recorded positive performance with consumer goods and insurance sectors leading the pack. Market breadth closed positive, recording 25 gainers and 8 losers.

Overnight(O/N) rate closed at 18.79%, representing a 1.46% depreciation against last Friday’s closing position, while Open Buy-Back (OBB) rate also closed at 17.64%, representing a 1.19% depreciation against last Friday’s closing position.
