Equity market continues rise, as NSE ASI gains 0.36%
The NSE ASI climbed higher today gaining 0.36% to extend market positive momentum to three consecutive trading days. Market breadth closed positive, recording 27 gainers and 20 losers.

The All Share Index (ASI) grew by 111.04 absolute points, representing an increase of 0.36%, closing at 30,989.60 points. Similarly, Market Capitalization went up by N43.20 billion representing a growth of 0.36%, closing at N11.56 trillion.
LEARNAFRCA emerged the top gainer while MEDVIEWAIR emerged the top loser.
The uptrend was impacted by gains recorded in medium and large capitalized stocks, amongst which are; ACCESS (+6.19%), HONYFLOUR (+4.88%), WEMABANK (+3.23%), FBNH (+2.70%), FCMB (+2.08%), GUARANTY (+1.82%), UACN (+1.18%) OANDO (+1.06%), DANGCEM (+1.05%), ZENITHBANK (+0.68%) and DIAMONDBANK (+0.48%).

The Investors and Exporters (I&E) FX window opened at N362.79, traded high at N365.50 and eventually closed at N362.43, representing a 0.04% appreciation against yesterday’s closing price. A total of $91.00 million was transacted through the I&E window today.
Overnight(O/N) rate closed at 13.00%, representing a 2.67% depreciation against yesterday’s closing position, while Open Buy-Back (OBB) rate also closed at 12.33% representing a 2.67% appreciation against yesterday’s closing position.
