The All Share Index (ASI) gained 96.43 absolute points, representing an increase of 0.31%, to close at 31,529.92 points. Similarly, Market Capitalization increased by N35.96 billion representing a growth of 0.31%, to close at N11.76 trillion.
NEM emerged the top gainer while INTERLINK emerged as the top loser.
The uptrend was impacted by gains recorded in medium and large capitalized stocks, amongst which are; DANGFLOUR (+7.87%), HONYFLOUR (+7.50%), FBNH (+7.38%), SEPLAT (+5.75%), ACCESS (+5.56%), FLOURMILL (+5.26%), NESTLE (+2.04%), GUARANTY (+1.71%), WEMABANK (+1.43%) DIAMONDBNK (+1.29%), FCMB (+0.91%), and STANBIC (+0.21%).

The Investors and Exporters (I&E) FX window opened at N361.75, traded high at N363.50 and eventually closed at N361.73, representing a 0.02% depreciation against yesterday’s closing price. A total of $315.19 million was transacted through the I&E window today.
Overnight(O/N) rate closed at 19.42%, representing a 1.00% appreciation against yesterday’s closing position, while Open Buy-Back (OBB) rate also closed at 18.67% representing a 1.33% appreciation against yesterday’s closing position.
