The bullish sentiment was due to investors’ buy interest in bellwether stocks like DANGCEM, UBA, ZENITH BANK, and 12 others. Consequently, the market indicators (NGX-ASI and market capitalization) surged by 0.18%. However, the market breadth closed negatively recording 20 losers against 15 gainers.
