Transactions on the Nigeria equity market today (Tuesday) closed negatively, contracting by 0.39%, extending the previous negative sentiment to three consecutive trading days. The downturn was buoyed by persistent sell-pressure on some big-name stocks like DANGCEM, ZENITHBANK and 8 other. However, the market breadth closed on a positive note, recording 14 gainers as against 10 losers.
