Activities on the Nigerian equity market today (Tuesday) closed on a negative note with a dip of 1.53%, reversing previous day’s positive sentiment. The decline was supported by persistent sell pressure on big-name stocks like DANGCEM, ACCESS, ZENITHBANK and 31 other. Consequently, the market breadth closed on a negatively, recording 34 losers as against 10 gainers.

In summary, the All-Share Index (ASI) decreased by 379.66 absolute points, representing a dip of 1.53% to close at 24,479.16 points. Similarly, the overall Market Capitalization size shed N198.05 million, representing a decrease of 1.53% to close at N12.77 trillion.
NEIMETH emerged as the top gainer while CADBURY & BUACEMENT emerged as the top losers.
