The Nigerian Local Bourse today (Thursday) closed transactions on a bullish note, thereby extending the positive sentiment to two consecutive trading sessions, as NGX-ASI grew by 1.10%.The positive performance was driven by investors’ buy-sentiments in some blue-chip stocks like AIRTELAFRI, MTNN, BUACEMEMT, and 20 others. Resultantly, the market breadth closed positively, recording 23 gainers as against 18 losers.

In summary, the All-Share Index (ASI) expanded by 454.40 absolute points, representing a rise of 1.10%, to close at 41,704.11 points. Similarly, the overall Market Capitalization value surged by N237.13 billion, representing a growth of 1.10% to close at N21.76 trillion

CUTIX emerged as the top gainer (by percentage points) with a price appreciation of +10.00%, while NEIMETH emerged as the top loser (by percentage points) for today, with a price depreciation of -4.86%.
